As its name implies, Alegria is a special place to replenish and uplift your spirit. Designed and appointed by our family, Alegria was built with the level of care and attention to detail that reflects our genuine love for it. From the mosaic inlays in slate floors to hand crafted palapa roofs to artisan furniture and original art, all aspects were selected to provide the comforts of home, inspiring beauty and rustic elegance.

is a traditional Mexican hacienda situated on ten acres of fertile farm land surrounded by century old mango trees and an elegant royal palm grove. We’re a short walk to deserted beaches, iridescent sunsets.

One of Alegria’s most outstanding features is our warm service. Many of our staff have been with Alegria for years, applying focused dedication to the care of the Inn and all who enjoy it. Their friendliness and welcoming attitude will ensure you feel at home, serving you in the way that suits you best. Each room is cleaned daily and fresh flowers are bought from the gardens. The housekeepers will help with your laundry, prepare special treats and goodies or even cook that beautiful fish you plan to catch.

Each of our seven suites are special. Unique hand-crafted furniture, original art, soft feather pillows, fine cotton linens, thick luxury towels and comfy beds occupy all our rooms, ensuring that your getaway retreat starts with a good night’s sleep.
