Hotel Tropicana
The Hotel Tropicana is ideally situated at the south end of Puerto Vallarta on Muerto Beach. This south side of Puerto Vallarta has the most famous beaches where both neighbors and visitors enjoy the surf, the sand, and the many Palapa restaurants along the beach that stretches a mile south from the Cuale River.
The Hotel Tropicana was constructed at beginning of the sixties and was a pioneer in the hotel profession in Puerto Vallarta. Starting with 40 rooms the hotel steadily increased through the years. Over the years the Hotel Tropicana has been able to provide and maintain expert service while providing superb accommodation in the tropical paradise known as Puerto Vallarta!

The Hotel Tropicana, Puerto Vallarta outdoor pool is the ideal place to hang out with the family and enjoy the fun activities and take advantage of the tropical ocean front setting. The pool is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Telephone Service

The hotel offers telephones in all rooms and calls are operator assisted. The rate for local calls is 6 pesos for 3 minutes. Long distance calls depend on where and what time of day you are phoning.

Internet Service

The hotel does not offer onsite Internet services, but there are numerous Internet café’s located close to the hotel.

Medical Service

The hotel has several doctors that are available "on call" 24 hrs a day. Puerto Vallarta also has several hospitals that offer assistance for more serious situations

Laundry Service

The hotel does not offer any In House laundry service but there are several Laundromats close by and they are very reasonable priced.

The Hotel Tropicana, Puerto Vallarta has 160 rooms divided among three towers within the hotel.

Standard Room.
The hotel has 50 Standard rooms furnished with one double & one single bed and 32 Standard rooms furnished with one king size bed. The Standard Rooms with king size bed, have the option of either an Ocean View or Cable TV/ Movies. The Standard Rooms include: Air Conditioning, cable TV/ Movies, shower, private terrace or balcony and telephones. The majority of the rooms at the Hotel Tropicana have a spectacular sea view. Standard Rooms have a maximum capacity of 3 adults.

Superior Room.
The Superior Rooms are all furnished with two double beds and include: Air Conditioning, cable TV/ Movies, telephone, shower and a private terrace or balcony with gorgeous ocean views. Superior Rooms are located on the 8th & 9th floor of the main tower and in the new beach tower. Superior Rooms have a maximum capacity of 4 adults.

Junior Suite.
These suites are a new addition to the Hotel Tropicana. These beautiful suites are furnished with two double beds and include: Air Conditioning, telephone, shower, cable TV/ Movies, private balcony with Ocean front view. They come equipped with your own kitchenette that includes a refrigerator, stove, dishware and cutlery. The Junior Suites have a maximum capacity of 4 adults.
Dining

Hotel Tropicana, Puerto Vallarta features a restaurant that is open daily serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant offers coffee in the morning, A La Carte & buffet breakfast in the dining room, pool side lunch service and a complete dinner menu served every evening in the dining room. Restaurant service from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with room service from 12pm-8pm daily.
