Iberostar Quetzal is situated directly on the Playacar development's beach, with views of the island of Cozumel and 10 min. away from the town of Playa del Carmen. | The all-inclusive resort offers guests the option of dining at various buffets in the main restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach restaurant offers light fare throughout the day. For dinner, guests can make a reservation at one of the specialty restaurants, offering Mexican, Brazilian and other tropical cuisine. All drinks, including a selection of international beverages, 24-hour bar service, mineral water, soft drinks and beer from the mini-bar, are included. The resort bars do not serve alcoholic beverages between the hours of 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Guests receive complimentary entry to the nightclub and Lucy´s Mini-Club program for children. Lounge chairs, sun umbrellas and towels are complimentary for use in the pool area. |

This resort complex, comprised of the Hotel Iberostar Tucan (350 rooms) and the Hotel Iberostar Quetzal (350 rooms), is designed to blend harmoniously into the surrounding spacious, tropical gardens. The reception area features a lobby with bar, lounge bar, main restaurant and several speciality restaurants. The resort offers a large pool area with an activities pool, a lagoon, an adults´ pool with swim-up bar and separate children´s pool. All lounge chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are complimentary. Other amenities include a beach club with restaurant, various shops, nightclub and entertainment center, room service from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm and internet access(for an additional charge). |
