| The Avalon Reef Club has 133 guestrooms, studios, and suites. Standard rooms are located in an eight-story tower and feature ocean-view windows (no balconies). Studios and suites are located in two-story white villas with red-tile roofs set away from the tower in a section of lawns and paving-stone paths and feature large ocean-view balconies or ground-floor terraces. (The resort does not have accommodations specifically designed for people with disabilities.) Guestroom entertainment options include televisions with English-language channels, radio/CD players, and complimentary DVD players and DVDs on request.

| Swimming choices comprise a large pool containing a shallow children's section and the Caribbean Sea off a calm-water 91.5-meter (100-yard) beach. Snorkelers descend stairs from the resort's dock and explore a coral reef in a protected "snorkeling park" a few meters away. Guests have complimentary use of kayaks. Snorkeling equipment is available for a surcharge. Personal watercraft and other motorized water-sports equipment are available for rent. The resort's dive shop offers scuba-diving lessons and also conducts certification classes and arranges snorkeling excursions and reef, wreck, cave, and night dives (surcharges for all instruction and excursions). |
