Set along a stretch of white sand beach on the less crowded southern end of Cancun's hotel zone and overlooking the sparkling Caribbean Sea, the Crown Paradise Club Cancun resort is 15 minutes from Cancun International Airport.
Offering lots of children's facilities and various adults-only facilities, this hotel is spacious enough to accommodate both children and grownups without one interfering with the other's pleasure. Helped by a policy that allows up to two children age 12 or younger to stay for no extra charge when they occupy the same room as two guests paying adult rates, the resort primarily attracts families seeking active holidays; but it also serves couples seeking rest and relaxation.Terraced above the beach are two pools, one in the shape of a half-circle and the other a 37 x 21 meter (120 x 70 foot) rectangle. Elevated one floor above the lobby level, a 23 x 14 meter (75 x 45 foot) pool containing a swim-up bar is flanked by two 20-person spa tubs and provides adults-only tranquility. Showers and steam rooms lie beneath the complex. In addition to the outdoor pools, another pool is sheltered and shaded in a slanted-roof, open-air atrium. |

Softly lit and decorated with pale marbles and woods, a health-and-beauty spa features a large couple’s room containing a two-person spa tub. The tub is set on a marble platform bordered by a semi-circular marble-brick wall with niches holding candles and seashell sculptures. Above the spa tub, a dark, recessed ceiling twinkles with star-like lights. The spa offers hair and nail care, massage, body wraps and scrubs, hydrotherapy, facials, and Swiss and Scotch showers. (Spa and beauty treatments and services incur surcharges.)
Children and teens enjoy their own facilities. Toddlers 18 months to 3 years gather in a multicolored, air-conditioned clubhouse containing a cushioned playground for supervised activities. Kids ages 4–12 can use an open-air children’s club (with supervision) featuring a water park with a 15 x 15 meter (50 x 50 foot) pool containing three water slides and a narrow-channel, elevated, L-shaped pool with a fountain shower at one end. Teens can relax in their own separate area where they can enjoy a climbing wall, a bowling lane, movies, and a disco.
A large, air-conditioned fitness center contains cardio machines, free weights, and a universal gym. A business center is equipped with four computers offering dial-up Internet access (surcharge). Meeting rooms can accommodate up to 500 people. On-site shopping includes gifts, jewelry, and crafts. A doctor's office is open from morning to early evening, with the doctor on call during non-office hours (surcharges for services). The resort purifies its water. |

The top three floors in the eight-story building feature Crown Club rooms reserved for adults. All rooms feature ocean-view balconies or patios furnished with chairs and cocktail tables. The Crown Paradise Resort features two oceanfront swimming pools, an adults-only pool, another pool sheltered in a teepee-like, open-air atrium, and a children's pool with three water slides.
Crown Paradise Club Cancun Guests can enjoy the use of two lighted tennis courts, a small miniature golf course, lawn chess, shuffleboard, aerobics, outdoor yoga, and beach volleyball. A short shuttle ride away, guests can also take advantage of kayaks, small sailboats, paddleboats, and windsurfers at AquaWorld Marina 2 km (just over a mile) away on Nichupté Lagoon, the vast body of placid water lying between Cancun Island and the mainland. Shuttles to the marina are complimentary. |
If hurricane should strike Cancun, guests will receive:
-Refund for the cost of the affected nights
-Voucher for the same number of nights for use at a future date, good for one year and to be used in the same month
